Music and Amusements

It opens my mind to my senses.

The smell in the air, the high pitched screams of joy, the laughter .

Flashing, flickering lights that move to the music.

The adrenalin rush that comes when dancing with hundreds to a common song.

A place where my mind goes back to when I was a child, when everything was amazing.

All the work you see are images of my original paintings, usually in oil, acrylic or watercolor. I love to switch back and forth between mediums, it has helped me to stay loose within the work and also to maintain control. Experimentation has been key. By painting short bodies of work, I am able to focus on the subject at hand and study form and colors.
I was a self taught painter until the age of 32 when I decided to further my education and received my BFA from The New York School of Visual Arts. It was there I gained a deeper love of contemporary art and the artists who set the very foundation that we depend on today .
